CASE STUDY from our Day Centre!
96-Year-old lady. Monday to Friday were her usual days before Covid – During lockdown, she was not bothering to get dressed. She sat in her dressing gown under a blanket on the sofa all day. Her mental health plummeted and she was not in a good place. The family noticed that she was dehydrated and not eating. They were very concerned about her deterioration
One week after being back at the Day Centre: the lady was eating well, drinking, smiling, chatty and happy.
Day Centres really do make a difference to peoples lives, the evidence speaks for itself.
