Who Are We?

We are a group of friends who came together in 2014 to save Glamis Hall and its services from closure.  We became a registered charity (No. 1160317) in early 2015 to help us provide services at Glamis Hall for the community.

What is Glamis Hall?

Glamis Hall is a community centre on the Queensway Estate in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. It consists of a Day Centre for the over 50s, a large hall with a kitchen and servery, a community (meeting) room, and sports changing rooms.

Providing a Community Centre for the residents of the Borough of Wellingborough and the surrounding areas.

What do we do?

Day Centre (VIP Club)

The VIP Club is open Monday to Friday (9:30am - 3pm).  Join us for the day and enjoy a 3 course meal.  There are activities available throughout the day if you wish to participate.  We can provide transport to and from the centre and also arrange trips out from time to time.  We offer assisted bathing for those who cannot bath or shower at home on their own.  We also have a hairdresser 5 days a week and a visiting beautician and podiatrist.  If you are thinking of joining the VIP Club please call our Care Manager on 01933 677326, option 1 to discuss availability.

Youth & Sports Clubs

We run our own Youth club. We also host lots of clubs and groups at our centre. Check our events calendar to see what is on when.
